World War I 100th Anniv Medal SILVER PLATED

To mark the centenary of the beginning of World War I, INA, home of the Patinas, has issued a handsome commemorative medallion. It has the bare head of King George V on one side and Britannia standing with wings on the other side, reminiscent of the Official World War I war medal. They are full crownsized and come in a four page descriptive folder; they are in Prooflike Uncirculated condition and come in two finishes. On offer here is the silver plated VIP finish in a presentation package.

Edward VIII, GB Long Neck Crown

International Numismatic Agency did an Edward VIII for this country, which was a little different than the normal ones. They redid the bust of King Edward VIII with a rather long neck. They didn’t make many of them, so they are now in rather heavy demand from collectors. We bought 83 of them from a dealer who has retired, he bought 100 and forgot about them, only selling 17 of them. They are for Great Britain and are full crownsized struck in Uncirculated cupro-nickel. If you collect Edward VIII, chances are you do not have this one in your collection. Last chance!
