It has been quite some time since we were last able to offer you the complete date set of King Edward VII Pennies. To be honest, there just are not all that many around to make up collections. They were saved by a friend, who took the time to sort the hoard of Edward VII Pennies that he had accumulated over 20 years by date. Then he made complete date collections for us. Not only did he make date collections, but at a price that allows us to offer them to you at a special price. You get one of each date of King Edward VII Penny struck from 1902-1910. That means, 1902, 1903, 1904, 1905, 1906, 1907, 1908, 1909 and 1910. Every coin is over 100 years old and while circulated, they are still in very reasonable condition. You get all 9 different dates, which normally would sell for £24.50 as individual coins.

The last coinage of Queen Victoria is called either the Old Head Coinage or the Widow’s Head Coinage. The largest denomination struck in Sterling Silver is the Crown or Five Shilling piece. You have the bust of Queen Victoria on one side and St. George and the dragon on the other side. These Victorian Crowns are struck in Sterling Silver and are in Very Good – Fine condition. We will give you the best example of an 1897 Crown that we have in stock when your order is received.

The coinage of King George V was struck from 1911-1936. From 1911 until 1919 his coins were struck in Sterling Silver and from 1920-1936 they were struck in 500 fine Silver. Although there were crowns struck occasionally, on a regular basis the largest non gold coin struck was the Halfcrown or Two Shillings and Sixpence. The coin offered here is the 1920 Halfcrown in selected circulated condition, but let’s be honest the older the coin, the more circulation you can expect.
