Our friends made this medallic replica of a William & Mary Gold 2
Guinea piece several years ago and just found them. We snapped them
up, as the original Two Guineas is worth today £10-£20,000 and let’s be
honest most people cannot afford such an expensive coin. Even if you
owned one, you would probably keep it in a bank vault.
You have the conjoined busts of William & Mary on the obverse with
their crowned coat of arms and the date ‘1694’ on the reverse. They are
struck on gold plated planchets and in Proof condition. The workmanship
is fantastic and these replicas are at least £10,000 cheaper than the originals.
Gold plated Proofs in a protective capsule at an excellent price.
