These 50 kronor notes have an almost 19th century feel to them yet they were issued by Sweden in the 1950’s and early 1960’s. They are square in shape and feature an illustration of Svea seated with shield and lion in the bottom right hand corner (P47)
The back has a portrait of Gustav Vasa who was King Gustav 1 of Sweden from 1523 until his death in 1560.
