These tiny 5 peseta notes are dated 1951. They are in Crisp Uncirculated condition and feature a portrait on the front of Jaime Balmes. He was considered the most important 19th century Spanish philosopher and was known especially for his defence of Catholicism. An old building with town below appears in a frame on the back.

During the 2nd World War, Serbia was occupied by the Germans. A special wartime issue of banknotes was issued and circulated and it is from this series that we are delighted to offer. We have crisp EF+ examples of the 500 dinara dated 1941 (P31). It is handsomely engraved with an agricultural theme of a farmer sowing seeds on one side and then reaping the harvest on the other.
