It is part of the African Wildlife Series, this time featuring the African Leopard. The obverse features the Somalian coat of arms, which depicts two leopards, a shield and two spears, along with the year of mintage, and value of 100 shillings. The reverse side of the coin features the African leopard stalking its prey. The coin is struck in proof-like Brilliant Uncirculated and comes in a capsule.
