Before the introduction of the Euro, Belgium like all the other countries, issued its own coinage. We have put together a nice collection of 8 different Belgium preEuro coins. They are in selected circulated condition and who knows, if the Euro goes to hell they just might need these coins again. You get 25c, 50c, 1 Francs, 2 different 5 Francs, 10 Francs, 20 Francs and 50 Francs. You get all 8 different Belgium coins in selected circulated condition for just £4.95. Putting these together took well over a year and who knows when we will get any more.

The Netherlands issued their own coinage, but now only use Euro coins; the old coins are, in fact, no longer valid. But since it looks like the Euro and the European Union might be in trouble and hopefully disband, their old coins might just become very collectable. One of our suppliers has put together type sets of the old, pre-Euro coins that each country used to use. It is getting harder and harder to find the coins to make up these sets, so supplies are limited. All coins are circulated, which means that they were actually used as money. You get the 5 Gulden, 1 Gulden, 25c 10c and 5c coins.

This mint set comes from Croatia and is made up of 4 coins, the 1, 2, 5 & 10 Lipa. They were issued between 1997-2001 when the Croation currency was quite strong. All coins listed are in Uncirculated condition and many have now been replaced with different coins, making these rather interesting and difficult to get.
