Elizabeth II, Scotland, Pair of Scottish Shillings BU, 1966

Most people think that the last pre-decimal coins struck for circulation were dated 1967, they would only be partly right. In fact most pre-decimal coins were last struck in 1967, that is except for the Shilling. The last Shilling struck for circulation was in 1966, they did not make any in 1967. They issued two different types of 1966 Shillings, the English reverse and the Scottish reverse. The coin on offer this issue is the Scottish 1966 Shilling in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. As the Shilling had a direct decimal equivalent they felt that they had enough of this denomination to fill all their needs at the time. We are offering you a pair (2 pieces) of the 1966 Scottish Shilling in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Why two pieces? So you can show the obverse and reverse at the same time

Elizabeth II, Complete Date Set of Sixpences

This is one of the best offers of this issue, the complete collection of Queen Elizabeth II Sixpences from the Coronation year 1953 until they ceased striking Sixpences for everyday usage in 1967. The Sixpence or Tanner as it was called was one of the most liked coins of its day. In fact, it was so well-liked that it was still legal tender till well after decimalization came into effect. You get all the dates: 1953, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1957, 1958. 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966 and 1967. All the scarce and rare dates are included. All coins are struck in cupro-nickel and are in selected circulated condition. There are 15 different dates and you get all 15 of them. In the past, we have sold this set for £14.50, which is just under £1 per coin. But now we have a very special offer. A dealer had made up a quantity of these sets and just forgot that he had them.
