We have been going over our stock and found that we had two sets of American State quarters in Proof condition, which is more than we need. So we are going to offer them at a special price to entice you to add them to your collection. This 2000 set of five Proof State Quarters includes Massachusetts, Maryland, South Carolina, New Hampshire and Virginia. The 2003 set includes Illinois, Alabama, Maine, Missouri and Arkansas. Both sets are in their original US Mint blue plastic display case, so you can see both sides without having to take them out.
Paul I ruled Russia from 1796 until 1801 when he was assassinated. He was the only son of Peter III and Catherine the Great. There are some doubts about his legitimacy, but he carried on, overlooked by his majestic Mother.
These are crownsized Patinas struck in Proof Sterling Silver and with a very low mintage, because we found more than we expected, we are offering you this beautiful coin at a special price.
Last year was the 80th anniversary of the Year of Three Kings, George V, Edward VIII and George VI. ICB have issued a beautiful Edward VIII collection, full crownsized in eight different metals with a plain edge as opposed to milled.
We bought the entire mintage, except for one set that is being put into auction. Other Edward VIII issues are being sold on ebay for over £245 a collection. The metals they are struck in are: Sterling Silver, Golden Alloy, Copper, Gold Plated Copper, Aluminium, Polished Steel, Pewter and Nickel Silver. A youthful portrait of the uncrowned King is on one side and a new version of St. George slaying the dragon is on the other side. Only 100 collections ever made with the plain edge that is all, forever.
Chinese Cash coins are easy to find, you can not say that about Japanese Cash coins. A Cash coin is a round coin with a square hole in it. If you do the I-Ching, then you need three coins all the same. This coins is in Very Fine condition. We don't know what the market is in Japan, but we do know that they are much scarcer than their Chinese counterparts.
We have managed to put together a few collections of all the English type Shillings issued by Queen Elizabeth II for circulation. That includes every date from 1953 to 1966, when the denomination was
stopped. You get all the dates, scarce or rare, including 1953, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965 and 1966. We no longer provide a Sandhill insert as this now adds about £6-£7
to the price and most of our collectors put them in albums anyway. All coins are in Fine or better condition and include the 1953 Coronation issue. A nice collection and not easy to put together today.
This coin is from Muscat & Oman, which is now known as Muscat. It is a 100 Baisa from AH1390 or 1970 in our years. It was struck for one year only and thus is an important type coin.
They only made it for one year and that was some 45 years ago. The coins on offer are in Uncirculated condition and are quite large, say about Halfcrown size.
An important one year only type coin from a country that no longer exists and in Uncirculated condition,
what more can you want from a coin? And offered at a very reasonable price!
