Edward VIII GB no Legend Copper

This Edward VIII Patina issue is almost a trial coin, because there is no legend. Later on a similar piece was issued complete with the legend. The mintage on these Patina pieces is just 975 pieces and no more will ever be struck, as the dies have been cancelled. They have the bare head of Edward on one side and the arms similar to those on the 1937 George VI Crown on the other side. We have them available in copper and goldine. Here we present the Legend Copper. Remember that the mintage in each metal is just 975 pieces.

1916 Silver 3d

This King George V threepence is dated 1916, issued during World War I, and most importantly, it is struck in Sterling Silver. Our coinage would be struck in Sterling Silver for just 3 more years. The coins are in Fine condition and have the bare head portrait of the King on one side and a crowned ‘3’ on the other. A nice coin to add to your collection and it is 102 years old.

1918 KN Penny, Kings Norton Mint

In the reign of King George V the Royal Mint ran out of capacity to strike enough coins for everyday usage, so they contracted out the minting of some Pennies. One of the two Mints they used was the King’s Norton Mint, unlike the Birmingham Mint, the King’s Norton Mint had never struck coins for them before. They only made pennies for the Mint in 1918 and 1919 and all of these coins carry the ‘KN’ mint mark by the left of the date. Of the two mints, the King’s Norton is by far the most difficult to get. We have a nice little group of the 1918 issue in Fine condition. Remember these KN Pennies were only ever struck for two years.

1948 Brass 3d

Many of the King George VI dates of brass threepences are Scarce and difficult to find, as most of the mintage was sent to our colonies overseas. The 1948 Brass Threepence is no exception. I believe that most of them went to the West Indies; after all even during a war the population needs coins to spend. The brass threepence while a short series (1937-1967) is also one of our most popular series. The new pound coin is based on this coin. The 1948 brass threepences are in Fine condition and difficult to find, many date collectors are missing this coin.

Victoria Patina Double Florin goldine

The Double Florin was only issued with the Jubilee Head of Queen Victoria from 1887- 1890. So INA asked what if they had issued a Double Florin with the Old Head of Queen Victoria on it, what would it look like? What they did, is in their Patina series, strike a piece to show what an Old Head Double Florin might have looked like. As usual with the Patina series, the engraving and quality of the product is outstanding. We have the Patina Queen Victoria Old Head Double Florins available in copper and goldine. Here we present the Double Florin Goldline. They won’t cost you the earth and will add to your collection. After all they didn’t make this coin, but here it is… These are Patina retro-patterns, made to show what the coin might have looked like had it actually been made at the time. All pieces are in Uncirculated condition.
