John F. Kennedy

On 22 November 1963, John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States was shot in Dallas, Texas while riding in a presidential motorcade through Dealey Plaza. Those old enough to remember him will never forget where they were when it happened. Although his presidency was short, the list of his successes includes extraordinary accomplishments, such as being the youngest United States President ever to be elected, taking U.S. economy out of recession through his reforms, averting nuclear war and ending the Cuba missile crisis, fighting for the civil rights of African Americans, and introducing the equal pay right act of 1963.

"A man may die, nations may rise and fall but an idea lives on"
