Golf PHQ set 1994
In 1994 the Post Office issued a set of four stamps for famous Golf Courses. They were St. Andrews,
Carnoustie: Luckyslap, Turnberry 9th Hole and Royal Troon. They also issued what looks like postcards,
but are actually called PHQ’s of these four stamps. Which means Post Office House of Questa.
The House of Questa was the company that actually printed the stamps for the Post Office.
We were offered the four PHQ’s at a price that we thought was fantastic, so we bought all they had, after all
there are a lot of golf enthusiasts in the world. You can have all four PHQ’s which are now 25 years old at a very good price. Supplies are limited and they are excellent gifts for anyone interested in Golf and most
will have never seen these.
