In 1966 Spain issued its first ever 100 peseta coin in silver, as the few that had been issued previously were all struck in gold. Back then the country was still ruled by General Francisco Franco, whose portrait appears on the obverse. The reverse side shows the heraldic emblems of Castille, Leon, Aragon, and Navarre, the four historic kingdoms that went on to become what we now know as Spain, arranged within a floral design. We can now offer you these attractive silver coins in unc condition.
