In November 1963 President John F. Kennedy was killed in Dallas, Texas. Most of us who are old enough to have been alive at the time remember exactly where we were when we first heard of the killing.

Coincraft have issued a unique memento of this man and of his successes. We have kept the price very low in order to make this set accessible to as many collectors as possible. This set is to honour a great man and not to make a lot of money. This collection is only available from Coincraft and it makes an excellent gift to people who remember Kennedy and coin collectors all over the world.

There are two unique Kennedy Half Dollars, both legal tender and both capable of being used as real money, rather than the non circulating legal tender coins that most mints issue today. The first is a one year type coin issued for America’s bi-centennial and it is in Proof condition, the finest quality available. The second coin is dated 2013 and was issued to honour the 50th anniversary of his death. The collection also includes a United States Kennedy stamp that has actually been used.

The package includes details for what Kennedy did, such as founded the Peace Corps, launched the Moon race and fought for civil rights. There is also a fascinating list of the similarities between the killing of Kennedy and President Lincoln.

The collection is priced at just £9.95 and is priced to be given as a gift.

Mandela Mint Set Special

When Nelson Mandela was finally released from Prison after many years hard labour, he shocked the world. He came out in a suit and didn’t hate those who put him inside. Rather he realised that he could help his country go forward and regain its place in the world. He was a hero and loved and admired by not only his own countrymen but by people all over the world. The South African Government made both a coin and a banknote with his portrait on them. A friend in South Africa made up a handsome folder with both the coin and the banknote, which we are now proud to be able to offer. Supplies are running out and we don’t know where or when we will be able to get any more. A true gentleman, someone who put his country before himself and someone we admire. Add the set to your collection today.

Edward VII Penny 1908

King Edward VII was the son of Queen Victoria and because she ruled for so long, his rule was rather short. In fact coins of Edward VII were only issued from 1902-1910, but that also means that all of his coins are over 100 years old. This issue we are offering the bronze Pennies of King Edward VII by date. All coins are in Very Good condition with the details and the date clearly legible. You have the bare head of the King on one side and a beautiful seated Britannia on the other side.
