The explorers Meriwether Lewis and William Clark decided to explore and map parts of
America in 1804-6. They met the Lemhi Shoshone woman known as Sacagawea, who
even though she had just had a child, agreed to help them. At one point a boat capsized and the
journals and records fell into the water. It was Sacagawea who rescued these documents.
The island nation of Fiji issued a commemorative Dollar to honour the trio in 2015. It has
the 3 standing together and the reverse has the coat of arms of Fiji. It is gold plated copper and
in choice Proof condition.
The United States also issued a small sized dollar coin, but just to honour the Indian maiden
Sacagawea. This is also struck in a yellow metal and in Proof condition. We are offering the
Fiji and the American proof dollars as a pair, as it seems best that way. So you get the Proof
dollar from Fiji and the proof dollar from the United States.
US Mercury Silver Dime 1940-1945. I have just bought a hoard of United States Silver Mercury Dimes or 10 Cent pieces all dated 1940-1945. They are struck in 900 fine Silver and in Fine or better condition. The dealer selected them from lots that came in over the years.
These World War II silver coins are one of the most beautiful coins that America has ever issued. They are nicer than usual and we have most dates and mint marks in stock, so the more you order the more different coins we will be able to give you. You are getting a chance on this fabulous hoard.
This coin was issued in America from 1864-1909, the coins on offer are all the later dates

be of our choice, but there are no rare dates represented.
Just to show that we honour all American Presidents, this time we offer a Barack Obama
Presidential Round. It is in Proof condition and in a protective capsule. You have a full-colour photo of President Obama with the Capital Building behind him and the Statue of
Liberty and the American flag beside him. The reverse shows the seal of the American
Government and the legend ‘Make America Great Again’. Obama was the first President to
use this turn of phrase.
He was the 44th President of the United States and was very well-liked by both the people
and the government. We think it is a rather handsome piece and he was President for eight years,
all the Constitution allows. Supplies are limited.
This medal says it all, ‘Grateful Nation – Never Forget – POW –MIA’ which stands for Prisoner of War (POW) and Missing in Action (MIA). The bold head of a Bald Eagle in white, gold and yellow is set against a red, white and blue American Flag. The other side also has the head of an eagle and five symbols for the five branches of the American armed services.
This piece is outstanding in that the colours are bright and vibrant and really knock you out. The sentiment is even more important, these are the service people who have helped defend us and we cannot forget them. One of the nicest pieces we have offered, but supplies are limited.
