United States of America, US Statue of Liberty Dollar & Half Dollar Proof 1986

The United States celebrated the 100th Anniversary of the Statue of Liberty in 1986 with two coins, the Silver Dollar and the nickel Half Dollar. The Statue of Liberty, which sits in the New York Harbour, was a gift of the French people. To thank America for sending troops to help them, which of course was to repay the French troops under Lafayette, sent to help America gain its independence. You have two beautiful Proof coins that are now 32 years old. We are offering them for what the Dollar should sell for, so it is like you are getting the Half Dollars for free. But we only have 50 pairs available and at our price of just £59.50 they should go fast, especially considering our own Royal Mint now charges £80 for a crown-sized Proof.

United States of America, USA 1923 Peace Dollar BU

The United States Silver Peace Dollar was first struck in 1921 and the coins were meant to be in everyday usage. They are full crownsized and struck in 900 fine Silver. Many consider it to be one of America’s most attractive coins. Now there is nothing rare about the 1923 date, it is just not all that easy to find when you are looking for it. We suppose the more dates they made, the less likely people were to put them aside. After all a Silver Dollar in 1923 was still considered a sizable amount of money. The coins on offer are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, which considering that they are now 95 years old, is quite impressive. A similar British coin in similar condition would cost you several hundred pounds at least. While supplies last you can own a Brilliant Uncirculated 1923 US Silver Dollar for a highly competitive price.

United States of America, WW2 Walking Liberty Half Dollar

In 1916 a new Half Dollar coin was issued, it was engraved by Adolph A. Weinman and this design continued to be struck until 1947. On one side you have Liberty walking with the wind blowing the drapes of her dress. On the other side you have an American Bald Eagle wings spread, almost looking like she is walking too. It is no wonder that these coins are called the Walking Liberty Half Dollars. The coins on offer are mostly from the 1940’s and are in Fine or better condition. The Silver Eagle design is based on this coin, but the engraver of this Half Dollar was much better. Nice coins and now about 70 years old and getting more and more difficult to find.

United States of America, You Can Run Anti Terror

This full crownsized challenge piece shows a sniper with his huge gunsight on one side and crossed guns with a skull and cross bones on the other side. Gold coloured with a large grey telescopic gun sight, repeated on the other side. It is one of the most ‘up front’ pieces that we have ever offered, I don’t mean to startle anyone, but it sure hit the spot with me. It is time that people who break the law and terrorize others should know that their time is limited. I am sorry if this offends you, but as they say on TV if you don’t want to see it, please look away now. Supplies are very limited.

USA, Harry S. Truman Set of 8 plain edge.

Harry S. Truman Set of 8 plain edge. Let’s start off by saying these President Harry S. Truman ‘Dollars’ were made by ICB and have nothing to do with the United States Government and they have no face value. Perhaps they will make people in the States think, but they are a private issue. Harry S. Truman was the 33rd President of the United States, he took over when Franklin D. Roosevelt died in office. He was responsible for the end of World War II. Europe was capitulating when he took office, but the Far East had a long way to go. He dropped the Atom bombs on Japan, to save hundreds of thousands of lives that would have been lost invading Japan. He set up the Marshall Plan to help rebuild Western Europe, he broke down the racial barriers in the military and in the government. When he left office he refused to go on any corporate payroll, despite not having a Presidential pension. These pattern ‘Dollars’ show Truman on one side with the date 1973 and the Number of each piece out of a total of 50 made is etched into the coin. The reverse shows the White House with the Truman balcony and the American Bald Eagle with a ‘1’. Only 50 were struck with the plain edge and 50 with the milled edge, We are offering both types. There are 8 pieces in each set, Sterling Silver, Goldine, Bronze, Aluminium, Pewter, Cupronickel, Copper and Steel. I bought most of the mintage, all 8 pieces are etched with your unique matching number, out of the total mintage of just 50 sets. They are full crownsized and in Proof condition.
