The Cook Islands are a group of idyllic islands lying scattered over a huge area in the South Pacific. The Islands issued its first proper currency in 1987. The smallest denomination issued was the unusual 3 dollars and we offer the second issue from 1992 (P7). The front features a typical Sunday scene with churchgoers coming out of church. On the back dancers, tropical fish, a large conch shell and a blue lorikeet. It is dedicated to the island of Aitutaki which rivals Bora Bora in its idyllic setting.
