In the Patina series, there were two types of Edward VIII pieces issued, one with a
long legend on the obverse and one with a short legend. This is the short legend
type. You have the Crown and legend Commonwealth of Australia and the date 1937
on one side and the bare head of the King on the obverse.
The short legend variety has larger lettering to help fill the space. We can offer
them here in goldine (mintage of just 575 pieces). They are
full crown sized and in Prooflike condition. Worth adding to your collection, as supplies
are running short as is the legend.
