Over the years Argentina’s economy has been through violent ups and downs and these upheavals have led to changes in the circulating currency names. In the early 1980’s, when inflation was running out of control, the peso became the peso argentino. Within two years, the peso argentino also fell from grace only to be replaced by the austral and so it went on.

The 7 Different Crisp Uncirculated notes in this set are all denominated in pesos argentinos. They range in value from the 1 to the 1000 pesos argentino (P311-P317)
