In the long reign of Queen Victoria there were three major types of Shillings struck: Young Head, Jubilee Head and Old Head. The coins on offer are the last called either the Old Head or the Widow Head Shillings. They were struck from 1893-1901 and all are Sterling Silver. Dates will be of our choice; all have seen considerable wear but the Silver still has quite a high value. Condition is Very Good and the more you order, the more different dates we will try and give you.

In our opinion, the Old Head or Widow Head but of Queen Victoria is the most underappreciated of the three different busts made during her reign. Here we offer the Old Head Sixpence in Uncirculated conditon. Dates will be of our choice.
