Uruguay, Gaucho 10 Pesos of 1961

Uruguay is on the East Coast of South America just below Brazil. It is not a country you hear much about or see many coins from. Our friend offered us two early Silver coins from Uruguay and we quickly snapped them up. There are only 50 of each coin in stock and when they are gone… Here we present the famous Gaucho 10 Pesos of 1961 issued for the Sesquicentennial of the Revolution against Spain. It's in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and a rather handsome coin. The coin was struck in 900 fine Silver and it's certainly not very easy to find...
