Spain 50 Pesetas 1928 P75

Spanish Golden Age painter Velazquez graces the front of this 50 pesetas note dated 1928 (P75). He is shown next to the Prado Museum in Madrid while the back shows his 1635 work ‘The Surrender of Breda’. It documents the moment Dutch forces ceded their town to Spain. Printed in England by Bradbury & Wilkinson, this is a densely engraved old note. Lovely in either Fine or VF-GVF.
