Belgium World War 1 Victory Medal

The Belgian Victory Medal was established by royal decree on 15 July 1919 and awarded to all members of the Belgian Armed Forces who served during the World War I. The basic obverse design, by the Scottish sculptor William McMillan, is a winged Victory standing on a globe and was adopted by many of the allied countries.

World War One Regimental Pair of Medals

World War One Regimental Pair of Medals. We have pairs of the World War I Silver medal and the Victory medal, each matched as per Regiment. World War One was started over 100 years ago (1914-1918), so these medals are now antique according to the definition, i.e. over 100 years old. It is not easy to have matched pairs for the Regiments, but one of our contacts did it. I think our price reflects the scarcity of the matching, but not over pricing as some marketing companies do.
