Here is something that should appeal to almost every collector out there, it is a denomination set of Indian coins. Why is this appealing? Well, when we were in India a couple of years ago we saw almost NO Indian coins actually being used. In fact the newspapers said that the Indian coins were being smuggled to Pakistan to make razor blades!
These are Uncirculated Indian coins which represent 10 different denominations and you will not find them in India. When a friend offered us these sets we were very excited. You get the 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 20, 25 and 50 Paise coins plus the 1 and 2 Rupees. These are dated between 1971and 2002 and it would be almost impossible to put this set together today, especially in Uncirculated condition.
