Guernsey issued a large copper coin with the strange denomination of 8 Doubles on it. The coin was issued for just two years 1834 and 1858. The island is known as The Bailiwick of Guernsey and is just 194 sq miles. They are of course British but did not have the portrait of the Monarch until recently.
These large copper coins are low mintage are not an easy coin to get and these, the ones we offer here are in Fine condition, which is not bad considering they are at least 158 years old. Date supplied will be of our choice depending on availability.
