As Hungary has now joined the European Union, I thought you might like a couple of Silver Proof commemorative crowns. After all they are collecting their own coins and with EU membership, their living standards are bound to increase…

The first is a 200 Forint of 1975, which was for the 150th Anniversary of the Academy of Science, KM605. It is struck in Proof 640 fine Silver and has a mintage of 10,000 pieces. The second is a 2,000 Forint of 2000 and was struck for the European Union, KM733. They made 12,000 and it was struck in Proof Sterling Silver.

These coins could well be good at sometime in the future, at this time I am offering them at what I think are good prices.
