On the night of December 11th 1936, King Edward VIII made his historic radio broadcast when he abdicated in favour of his brother George. To commemorate this event we produced this outstanding limited edition historical piece, something to delight you and your children.
The first thing you see is a large sized envelope made up of a montage of many photographs of Edward as Prince of Wales.
The envelope and the photos are in black and white just as they were done at the time. Inside is a high quality folder, which contains an actual photographic reproduction of the Instrument of Abdication with his and his three brothers’ signatures.
Then to complete the package, across from the Instrument of Abdication we have added all four of the stamps that were issued for Edward, each in mint unused condition. Only 2,000 were produced for the entire world. I have priced this beautiful piece at a price which is extremely reasonable, especially considering the limited number made. At Coincraft we try and treat you right, you get the whole package, a white outer envelope to keep it clean plus the montage of photos envelope, the photographic copy of the Instrument of Abdication plus-4 mint unused stamps of Edward VIII all for only £11.95. I think it is excellent value for money
