French Indo China covered that area we know today as Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia and was a French possession from the late 19 th century until 1954.
These 100 piastres notes were issued between 1947 and 1954, during the last years of French Colonial rule.(P82) They are printed in typical French style. Printed in pastel shades a portrait of Mercury is to the left. On the back, a man with two elephants to the left and a young man to the right. Our examples are all in Fine condition and just £3.75 each
