In 1939 Canada issued its first real commemorative Silver Dollar. It was for the Royal Visit of the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. On the obverse is King George VI and on the reverse is the Parliament building.
This is the first real commemorative Silver Dollar issued and they were struck in 800 fine Silver. The coins in this group are all Extremely Fine condition which is a very nice grade for collectors.
