Argentina, 2 Centavo (1882-1896) Fine or better

These Argentina 2 Centavos were issued from 1882-1896. They are about the size of the old British Penny. They are being sold by type and not by date. The coins are about 150 years old and in Fine or better condition. Not a coin you see every day and to be honest our history with Argentina is not great. It even seems that they are going for the Falkland Islands again. Inflation was 99% in Argentina last year. It seems when things go bad they think of trying to invade somewhere.

TransDniester Republic, set of 4 coins

The autonomous region called the TransDniester Republic issued a most unusual set of coins in 2014. They are made of composite material, are semi-transparent, and have a textured surface. This territory was part of the Soviet Union, and later became an unrecognised Moldovan breakaway state, that is still recognised internationally as being part of Moldova. These coins are a plastic-type material but with a hardness that produces a stone-like sound when rubbed. They were issued by the 'TransDniester Republic Bank' and there are 4 denominations. 1 Rouble circular, 3 Roubles square with rounded corners, 5 Roubles pentagon-shaped with rounded corners, and 10 Roubles hexagonal with rounded corners. They have rounded corners for ease of use and for ease of machine readability at high speeds. These were an experiment and who knows if they will continue to issue them. But we thought that they were very interesting and rather well priced so we obtained 100 sets of them. Supplies are limited.

Picture of India, East India Co. Treasure X Cash

India, East India Co. Treasure X Cash

These 10 and 20 cash coins were struck for the East India Company in Birmingham in 1808. Unfortunately the coins never made it to India; the ship carrying them sunk on the Goodwin Sands and lay undiscovered for almost 200 years. The coins struck were the 10 and the 20 Cash coins. Both denominations are copper and have the arms of the East India Company supported by two lions on one side. The other side has the denomination XX (20) Cash or X (10) Cash and the inscription is in the Arabic. Here we present the X coins, which are in Very Fine, but have seen some edge damage due to their being buried for almost 200 years. Own a piece of British / Indian Treasure coin for far less than you might expect to pay. These are a wonderful conversation piece as well as true treasure coins. Each coin comes with a certificate of authenticity...
